I have no idea why I like writing these little reviews... but anyhoo...

Based on the bits I actually saw (don't ask) this was a damn good film. I thought it might be a bit boring plot-wise to be honest, the only thing that really made me want to see it was the visual aspect, and not just zhang ziyi; the trailers looked really quite pretty. But no, there was suspense, and fire, and exiting things like that (i don't think there was a car chase). I may even have to go back to the cinema and actually pay attention to the film this time.

Was supposed to see underworld as well but I got back to Jess' far to late/tired, maybe i can poke kara into going next weekend.

And the crap:

I want a digital camera. And someone to teach me photography. bah, screw it i'll teach myself, cant be that hard; point, click. I still want a camera though, someone get me one. A good one, that takes SLR filters and lenses.

My crazy mother has met up with her old boyfreind from when she was 18 via friendsreunited. He's in his second marrage now, to a woman he's been seeing on and off for a few years. they've only met twice, my mother and this guy, and now he's talking about leaving his wife and moving down here.

I do benifit though, he cant move in til i move out, so mum says she'll help pay for the move lol

I dispare at the cold clinicality of some marketing campanges; sainsbury's are selling life insurance policies, so where do they put the huge adds scaring you into buying it? the mother baby isle... right over the new born section.

I do like working the baby isle though, it smells nice. the kinda smells that invoke old memories,of being little. its nice when smells do that, especially when you'd forgotten all about the particular memory

Jess's party was goood, I had two ladies bringing me fresh beer all night, not that I know why but I wasn't about to complain.
Seville asked me to get her drunk and give her dancing lessons (i told her she didnt want them from me, so did a few other people actualy) but i cant resist a damsel in distress, so i fed her malibu and tried to get my inebriated brain around the concept of timing. apparently it worked.
She may just be humouring me.
Mark and i were suppode to be going to Bangface after, so we headed in that direction with pyro in tow for a bit, then... i think he went home, either that or we lost hime, but he wasnt with us when we got to electrowerkz. which turned out to be full :( they were opperating a one in one out but we couldn't be arsed to hang about so i gave jessy a call and asked her if we could crash at hers.
Camden to jess's isn't a had trip, its one bus. it wasnt going to turn up for a while though, so we got on a differnt one and ended up in traffalgar square, where i danced like an idiot to combichrist and got chased by random people who where in a tent.
Eventually we got to picadilly and i danced like an idiot to an old rasta playing the bongos.
Still trying to find a bus in the right direction we end up skinning up in green park with some random guy before deciding we should head to soho and find a strip club.
We got a bit lost
Some how got on a bus to south kensingtn... which is kind of the right direction.
I got a curry sandwich from an all night sainsbury's
Finally managed to find a bus to hammersmith bus station but then we got on the wrong on and stated to go back where we came from. luckily i realised before we ended up back in camden.
So at 5.30 we eventually rolled into chiswick and got to jessy's still totally fuck off our tits and promptly pased out.

What the fuck was that!? I had quite high hopes for this film, but it really disappointed on so many levels. For a start they could of hired kids who could ACT. this would seem a pretty fundamental part of casting but apparently it was overlooked. Now I admit that i havent read the books, but i sure as hell would be at least a little surprised if a beaver started talking to me with Dawn French's voice, or santa claus turns up and gives me weaponary (which, by the way, the eight year old was scarily proficient at and the eldest laughably crap (ever heard of blocking??)) And the scene with Aslans resurrection. Jesus! I mean that litrally; I was informed before seeing it Alsan was supposed to be indicative of the J-Man, which I refused to believe, but after watching that scene... well it was hardly underplayed.

Also the Kings of Narnia are hopless military tactitans: hoplessly out numbered but holding the high ground and they rush off into the level field. no, no, NO!

Ok I'm done.

No I'm not. I just found out I've been underpayed by £600 this month and probably part of last month too. Someones gona get kicked in the balls for this.

I just got home for the first time since... um... thursday? anyhoo, jess's parents have been away somewhere so thats where harriet and I have been living the past few days.
Didn't get to TG for NYE though, which is a shame. Jess was ill and i couldn't just off and leave her on her tod, so i hung around playing nurse instead.
As it happened she decided she did want to go out in the end, so we went of to some little party (it was kinda shit but i cleaned up at poker ^_^), we ended up in china town at 3am looking for a take away. of course everyone else had had the exact same idea and we had to walk down to green park before we fund somewhere to eat that wasnt stupidly crowded.
Bob's birthday party tomorrow, so i maybe home but i doubt i'll be getting any sleep yet as jess has come back up with me, although shes fallen asleep at the moment (is mummbling something about scary bunnies).
If i'm drunk enough when i get in tomorrow night i may do the whole, seemingly mandatory, intraspective thing.
Or i may not.
Its like russian roulette.
But less entertaining.

the thought occurs to me i need to make more of my friends get lj, or bother to ask if they have one... i think i'm mainly talking to myself

So I went shopping with Becca yesterday for my TG outfit, yey! Although I would love to know how many hours of my life i've lost hanging about for females in camden... Anyhoo, I got a looovely black and red japanese style dress and a lil black corset too. Stefan was most taken by it, so I might have to be careful if i get drunk... although he is letting me wear his boots :P
My tickets still haven't turned up in the post though, dispite it being recorded delivery, which I'm sure is supposed to arrive next day... I know its been the holiday period an all but I ordered them over a week ago and I'm supposed to be going down to london tomorrow! So I may have to come back to get them which is a pain, I'll have to try and do it drunk and drag Jessy and Harriet with me ^_^
But yey, one night of work then my new years celebrations can begin. I need to buy a camera. someone remind me.

Haapy christmas y'all. i'm nicely drunk. which is nice. Have to face the family tomorrow, but hopefully i can find some more booze before then ^_^ hope santa brings you what you want (even though i know most of you are getting coal coz you are bad little boys and girls).
